|From one man he made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live. God did this so that men would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from each of us. For in him we live and move and have our being. ĖActs 17:26-28
If these verses donít teach you anything else, they should remind you that we are forever in Godís presence. David does an excellent job of depicting this reality in Psalm 139. He praises God in this psalm for being all knowing and ever present. How comforting this is to those who know and love God! How reassuring it is to know that God is not far from each of us and that we can live, move, and have our being in him.
If we believe that God is always present, that conviction should impact our thoughts, our words, and our actions. It should also have a strong impact on the level of our faith. God loves us and always has our best interest at heart, so I want to urge you to trust him and have faith in his presence in every situation in your life.
Read the verses outlined above again and meditate on them. Think about them in relation to your life and get the message that the Father is sending to you today. He created you and placed you in the exact location and situation that you are in so that you would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him. Have you sought God? Have you reached out for him? He is right there with you, and I am certain that you will find him. I dare you to try him today.
Stay blessed and spread the word.
